honestly this album takes quite a bit of time and many listening rounds to actually "get into". No doubt it is technically excellent, with more advanced composition elements than earlier records, however it isn't that easily accessible either. Perhaps this is actually a strength as each time you will listen to there will be more details to discover. Martin R

I think Cosmic Ground is a exciting band. Old fashioned and with nice vibes and rhytms. But I miss something. Many compare with TD. Maybe, but I lack the crescendo at the end of the songs. It becomes boring when the end lacks a Froeselike guitarsolo. Something is missing, the crescendo is missing, the songs just exit out with no proper end explosion. Roger Adler

When I heard the track "The hobo of the skies" for the first time, I fell in love with it. The mellotron was always my favorite instrument in EM. this track is pure mellotron-magic. There are two more tracks who created similar feelings in me, unfortunetely the album has also a few low moments. But all in all a great album. Klaus Sauer
